New Ecoflex® 00-20 SuperSoft is mixed 1A:1B by volume, has a working time of 30 minutes and cures in 4 hours at room emperature. What users like about it is that it is easy to use and cures to a soft, strong and stretchy silicone rubber. Silc Pig® silicone pigments will easily add color to the 00-20 or any silicone rubber. Psycho Paint® can be used as a topical paint for creating an endless variety of effects.
New FlexFoam-iT!® 4 Tuff Stuff is a self-skinning, castable, flexible urethane foam. Tuff Stuff and has relatively high tear strength for a low-density foam. It is also stiffer and slightly harder to compress vs. other FlexFoam-iT!® products.
FlexFoam-iT!® 4 Tuff Stuff was originally developed for fabricators that make foam props for the Halloween industry. These props are on display and within reach of the public. They have to be lightweight and able to take abuse from general public handling. People have since found many other uses for this foam.
Super strong foam is ideal for animatronics
Mix ratio is 80:100 by weight. You must weigh components using a gram scale to be successful with this product.
What You Should Know…
FlexFoam-iT!® 4 Tuff Stuff is faster than our other foams, so we recommend this product to only experienced users. At room temperature, you have about 25 seconds to mix and pour. This foam starts to rise almost as soon as you start mixing Part A + Part B. Mixture expands about 10 times its original volume depending on mass and mold configuration.
Tack free time is about 20 minutes.
